Echoes, in its Powder Hands variation, belongs to the third act of the MaVoix × Oltrarno Design collection, dedicated to dispersion and the fragmentation of identity.
Inspired by the theatre of Samuel Beckett, the design explores repetition and suspension through an interplay of hands and eyes that multiply across the surface, creating an irregular, almost hypnotic visual rhythm.
Rooted in the graphic language of MaVoix’s iconic Uno, Nessuno wallpaper, Echoes takes shape as a designer rug, hand knotted by Oltrarno Design and crafted from 100% vegetable silk.
A palette of tobacco, powder pink, beige and taupe complements the complexity of the design, creating a delicate balance between materiality, movement and vision.

What is the MaVoix rug made of?
Each rug is hand knotted in wool and silk. Wool gives the ground its body and resistance, silk marks only a few passages of the design and shifts with the light. The finish is matt.
Which sizes are available? Can it be made to measure?
The starting sizes are 200×300 and 300×400 cm. Every design can be recomposed to measure: state the dimensions in the request form and you will receive a proposal with the design adapted to your space.
What are the production times and how is it shipped?
Each piece is made to order and lead times follow the workshop schedule: we confirm them in our reply to your request. The rug travels rolled on a tube, protected and insured, with shipment tracking.
Can I receive a sample before ordering?
Yes. Mention it in the request form: we send a swatch of the material and of the design colours, so you can judge them in the room before confirming the order.
