Antonio Barbieri
Artist
Antonio Barbieri (Rho, 1985) blends technology and traditional arts in a practice that unites figuration and abstraction, 3D modeling and digitalization of environmental processes. In collaboration with MaVoix, he explores the natural mechanisms that generate and transform form, creating patterns suspended between nature and contemporary art.His work stands at the intersection of technology and tradition, experimenting with formal approaches that oscillate between organic structure and geometric abstraction. Natural processes — botanical, animal, and landscape-based — become the raw material for MaVoix patterns through digital and tridimensional modeling. His wallpapers interpret the interaction between environment and form, in a dialogue between image and organic geometry, art and science.
Barbieri also teaches 3D modeling and printing and has collaborated with cultural institutions such as Contemporary Cluster, Galleria La Linea, and Andrea Festa Fine Art. His recent exhibitions include Digital Soul (Talent Garden Milano), Genetica della Forma (Palazzo Collicola), Organic Architectures (Officine Chigiotti), and There Is No Wind on the Moon (Contemporary Cluster).
