Visual surfaces that reject direct representation.
In MaVoix, abstraction is always built through rhythm, intuition, and layering: modules, gestures, textures, and sequences give life to patterns that speak through allusion, vibration, and silence.
Far from rigidity, it becomes a grammar of emotion and space.
The Uno, Nessuno artistic wallpaper, designed by Marika Tardio for MaVoix, is a modular pattern where hands and eyes intertwine in an intimate, symbolic, and abstract choreography. Each hand is a suspended gesture, each eye a threshold — together they form a silent, universal language. In the Cannella variant, the graphic narrative grows warmer. The background —…

Uno, Nessuno is a continuous weave of hands. Here, drawn in pure white linework, they move across a Serenity Blue background — intense yet calm, solid yet vibrant. In this symbolic wallpaper, designed by Marika Tardio for MaVoix, the human gesture becomes a primal sign: a visual choreography of relationships, tensions, and delicate caresses, unfolding in a…
Interferenze is a perceptual threshold, a visual experience that floats through space.Designed by Studio Lievito for MaVoix, this reactive, ever-changing surface unfolds like a magnetic field. The pattern is not static — it moves, transforms, and interacts with distance and with the gaze of the observer. The strength of the design lies in its moiré effect,…

Developed around the moiré effect,…
Chimera is a work by Antonio Barbieri for MaVoix, born from a visionary exploration that merges digital art, evolutionary science, and organic imagination. At the foundation of the project lies a reflection inspired by Eldredge and Gould’s theory of punctuated equilibrium, which suggests that living species evolve through sudden leaps rather than linear continuity. It is…
The Hidden in Plain Sight design by Magnus Gjoen is an exercise in revelation and concealment — an artistic camouflage that fragments and transforms historical references into contemporary surfaces. At the base of the composition lies the famous ceiling of Giovanni Battista Tiepolo’s Allegory of Marriage, preserved at Ca’ Rezzonico in Venice. To this cultured, baroque…
The Hidden in Plain Sight design by Magnus Gjoen is a conceptual and visionary camouflage — a wallpaper that challenges the gaze and the surface, where nothing is immediately recognizable and everything is in flux.Through the layering of organic forms, Gjoen fragments a collection of historical and personal artworks, creating a pattern that reveals itself…
A wallpaper that goes beyond decoration, Hidden in Plain Sight is a layered visual artwork, conceived by artist Magnus Gjoen as a conceptual camouflage — a kind of maximalist glamflage. At first glance, it appears to be an abstract pattern, but on closer observation, figurative traces, baroque details, and painterly fragments emerge. It is an invitation…
Among all MaVoix patterns, Uno, Nessuno is the one that most fully embodies the connection between gesture, rhythm, and symbol. A modular, figurative design, where stylized hands intertwine in a hypnotic visual choreography, punctuated by blue eyes that silently observe the scene. This composition is built on a repeating visual alphabet — hands that touch,…
